The hair & beauty industry in the UK is worth nearly £7 BILLION and continues to grow! Hair and beauty treatments are now popular for both men and women, with trendy barber shops on the increase, spa visits gaining popularity and many people using a makeup artist to get glam for a night out. 

There are many reasons to pursue a career in hair and beauty. It’s a great place for creatives, with lots of career path options including many self-employed opportunities with flexible working patterns. If you love working with people, making them feel good and giving them a big confidence boost, hair and beauty could be for you.

Our courses give you the opportunity to build your skills in all sorts of ways, even practising special effects makeup. We have a dedicated salon for both hair and beauty, providing the professional environment and equipment needed for students to practise skills and understand the practicalities of the working environment.

We currently use the City and Guilds exam board for the Hair and Beauty, with whom we have maintained a strong working relationship. Our certificates and diplomas are designed to build on your interest and passion for the hair and beauty industry, covering a wide range of skills from styling, plaiting and twisting to make-up or nail art.
